- Broadband network providers – Details submitted on your Expression of Interest (EOI) form
- Community Leads – Basic Contact details including name, address and email address

Community Lead
Each community project will select someone or a community body/entity to act as the community lead. The community lead will be the main point of contact between the community, Fastershire, potential suppliers and if/when successful, the awarded supplier.
It will be necessary to share your contact details with the community lead in order for them to fulfil this role and keep you informed of any developments.
However if you would prefer be contacted directly by the Fastershire team only please inform us of this.
We will not normally share your information with organisations other than our partner organisations without your consent, however, there may be certain circumstances where we would share without consent such as where we are required to do so by law, to safeguard public safety, and in risk of harm or emergency situations. Any information which is shared will only be shared on a need to know basis, with appropriate individuals. Only the minimum information for the purpose will be shared.

You have a number of rights under data protection law, including the right to request your information and to request that the information be amended or erased if incorrect.
To request your records, you will need to put your request in writing and provide proof of identification to the Information Governance Team, Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford HR4 0LE or via email, informationgovernance@herefordshire.gov.uk.
You also have a right to make a complaint about our handling of your personal data to the Information Commissioner’s Office https://ico.org.uk/.

Information Held About you
In order to operate the Fastershire Digital Household Grant Scheme, it is necessary for us to collect and hold personal information about you. This information will include-
- Basic contact details about you such as name, address, telephone number and email address
- The information you provide when registering an expression of interest for the Grant scheme
Who is processing my data?
All personal data held, is processed in accordance with data protection law. The Data Controller for the information outlined in this privacy notice is Herefordshire Council.
Data Processors who will process your information on behalf of the council under a framework agreement will be Satellite and Works Limited (Sat-Works). If they are unable to offer a service then this may be passed to either Metricell Limited or Posisoft as part of this grant framework.
How will we use the Information we hold about you?
We will collect information about you (where applicable) to:-
- verify that you are eligible for the grant
- support the tender process with broadband providers
- contact you with updates and information about the process
- administer the grant, should you be successful
- maintain contact with you until the network is built
What is the legal basis for us to process your data?
The legal basis for processing the data is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by notifying us grants@fastershire.com
Who we will share your information with
We will not share your information without your consent and you can request for your details not to be shared. However to enable the Grant process we need to share details to enable the Grant process with:
- Data Processors listed above.
The information is to enable the Data Processors as approved suppliers to arrange site visits for signal testing to validate that you are able to obtain a 4G signal and that the bandwidth provided will be sufficient to be a material improvement to your current broadband as an interim measure in advance of any permanent Gigabit capable broadband solution.
We will not;
- Use your information for marketing or sales purposes.
- Send or store your data abroad

How Long do we Keep your Records
We will only keep your information for the minimum period necessary. The information outlined in this privacy notice will be kept for the duration of the Grant Scheme your property is part of. All information will be held securely and destroyed under confidential conditions.
