Sally Corrick Photography – Focused on a successful future
Sally Corrick has been a professional photographer since 2008. Specialising in events and wedding photography, Sally’s images have helped many brides and grooms treasure memories of their special day, as well as gracing the society pages of local magazines.Every image tells a thousand words
“The meetings I have been to have been brilliant – I’ve made great contacts and as a result we’ve even started our own small networking group to support each other, share stories and exchange ideas. Fibre optic broadband is due in my village any day now and once it’s in place my business will be totally transformed.”Sally Corrick has been a professional photographer since 2008. Specialising in events and wedding photography, Sally’s images have helped many brides and grooms treasure memories of their special day, as well as gracing the society pages of local magazines. Sally observes and gathers images that tell a story, whether it’s a country event or social occasion, a wedding, a beloved pet or finely tuned racehorse, bottles of cider from someone’s farm or images of a flourishing hotel business.
Making connections
Faster internet is critical to the business of being a photographer. Sally’s website is her shop window and clients expect their images to be available digitally as soon as possible after they have been taken. Spending days uploading photos over slow broadband speeds is frustrating and that’s why Sally became involved in the Faster Women project.
When Sally attended the social media workshop she not only learnt a great deal about how social media could benefit her business, she also made some great connections. “I’ve met other business women through the Faster Women sessions and some of us have even formed our own support group.”
Sally now has a far greater understanding of what she can do with social media and how to develop her business marketing strategies and is ready to implement them. The sessions have also given her an insight into what other businesses are doing and how perhaps she could support them.
Once Sally’s faster broadband is in place, Sally’s business will be transformed. “I have all these strategies, ideas and techniques that I have discovered at the Faster Women sessions, and once my broadband speeds are improved I just know it will be amazing. I really can’t wait to get stuck in!”.
